Stock History
Stock history is a feature that allows users to view records of all the changes made in the inventory, including movements, reference, and adjustment quantity. It is a useful tool for inventory and warehouse management, as it allows users to see the complete history of all the items in the inventory, including inward and outward stock movements. To access the Stock history feature, go to the Back Office, select the "Inventory" option in the menu, and then click on "Stock History" to open the feature.
The Stock history feature allows users to view all changes in the stock of all items. Users can filter the history by period, and see the changes made by admin or employees in stock movement, including lot number and serial number updates. These tracking numbers, such as lot numbers and serial numbers, are used to track certain types of inventory items, and are essential for accurate inventory management. This feature provides a detailed overview of the inward and outward stock movements, which is crucial for inventory management and warehouse management.
How to view Stock History
- Open Back Office
- Go to Inventory Menu.
- Click and open Stock History section.
- Here check all stocks movements.
Created On
The stock's movement created date will show in a created on the field.
Reference
Reference is responsible for stock movement.
Product Name
Check the goods movement for the responsible product. Use the product search to see the specific product items.
Sku
Stock keeping unit (SKU) is an identification code that use to classify and organize products. Use search SKU to view the specific items.
Price
Check the price of the products.

Movement
Stock movements can be broken down into two types: In and Out. The type of movement refers to whether stock is being added to or removed from the location. When stock is added to a location, it is referred to as an "In" movement, and the quantity of stock that is being restocked is updated as "IN" in the inventory records. Conversely, when stock is removed from a location, it is referred to as an "Out" movement, and the quantity of stock that is being removed is updated as "OUT" in the inventory records.
These movement types are important for accurate inventory management, as it helps in keeping track of the stock available in the location and also helps in forecasting the future needs of the stock.
By using the "In" and "Out" movement types, it is possible to quickly and easily see the overall movement of stock and identify any trends or patterns. This helps to ensure that the correct amount of stock is always available at the location, and that the inventory records are accurate.
Lot Number
The stock lot number functionality is a feature that allows for batch tracking of inventory items. It provides traceability by allowing users to track the movement of specific batches of items. This feature is particularly useful for items that have expiration dates or are subject to other time-sensitive constraints.
Serial Number
A serial number is a unique number assigned to each individual item in inventory, rather than to a batch of items like a lot number. Serial numbers are typically used to identify and track high-value items, such as electronics or machinery, but can also be used for other types of items.
The stock serial number functionality allows users to track and trace the movement of specific items by their serial number. This feature can be used to check the updated serial number in stock history. This way, the users can view the history of the specific item, including when it was received, how much was received, and when it was sold or moved out of the inventory.
Serial numbers can also be used to track warranty information, maintenance records, and other important details about the item. It's a key feature in inventory management as it allows to track the item throughout its lifetime and also to easily identify the item in case of any returns or repairs.
Adjusted Quantity
Adjust the stock quantity in the product list page or stock inventory section. This adjustment updated in stock history.
Location Name
Location of the product where stock is kept or out.
