Stock Movement Summary Report
The Stock Movement Summary Report provides a consolidated view of inventory flow across selected branches or warehouses over defined ageing periods. This report helps track how stock quantities change over time by capturing opening balance, inward movement, outward movement, and closing balance for each product. It is primarily used for inventory control, ageing analysis, demand planning, and audit verification.
This report is structured to display stock data in time-based slabs, allowing accurate monitoring of slow-moving, fast-moving, and stagnant stock. The Stock Movement Summary Report acts as a critical analytical tool for inventory supervision. By categorizing stock movement into structured ageing periods, it offers deep visibility into stock health, supporting strategic planning and operational accuracy. Screen Layout Description
The report interface is divided into three primary sections:
Navigation: O2VEND Back office → Reports → Inventory Reports → Stock Movement Summary.
1. Header Controls
Located at the top of the screen, this area contains:
As On Date
Defines the reference date for which stock data is calculated. All ageing slabs are computed based on this selected date.Branch / Warehouse Selector
Dropdown used to filter stock movement for a specific branch or warehouse.Export All Button
Used to download the complete report in a supported file format for offline analysis.Configure Button

2. Filter Section
This section enables precise filtering of products:
Product Name Search
Allows searching by product name, SKU, or GTIN for quick data retrieval.Brand Name Filter
Filters the report based on selected brand.Category Filter
Narrows results to specific product categories and subcategories.
These filters help isolate specific product groups for focused analysis.
3. Report Grid
The main grid displays stock data in tabular format with the following columns:
Product Information
- Product Name
- Brand Name
- Categories Name
Ageing Buckets
Stock data is segmented into time-based brackets:
- 0–30 Days
- 30–60 Days
- 60–90 Days
- >90 Days
Each bracket includes three values:
- Opening – Stock available at the beginning of the period
- In – Quantity added during the period
- Out – Quantity issued or sold
- Closing – Remaining stock at the end of the period
This segmentation helps evaluate how long stock remains in inventory and how frequently it moves.
How to Use the Stock Movement Summary Report
Viewing Stock Movement
- Navigate to the Stock Movement Summary screen.
- Select the required As On Date.
- Choose the relevant Branch / Warehouse.
- Apply optional filters such as Product Name, Brand, or Category.
- Review the stock values displayed across ageing ranges.
The system will automatically calculate stock movement and aging based on the selection criteria.
Interpreting Stock Values
- Positive values indicate available stock.
- Negative values may represent stock adjustments, data inconsistencies, or pending corrections.
- Zero values suggest no stock movement during the selected period.
Repeated zero or negative values in the >90 Days slab indicate slow-moving or obsolete inventory requiring corrective action.
