    Sub Location Management in O2VEND

    The Sublocations detail in POS feature allows users to enter/select sub-location details during POS billing and inventory movement.

    Feature Details

    • Feature Name: Sublocations detail in POS
    • Description: Enter Sublocations detail in POS

    What this feature does

    When enabled, POS users can choose item-level sub-locations (bin/rack/zone) inside a warehouse while handling sales operations.

    This improves:

    • stock accuracy
    • item picking speed
    • warehouse traceability

    Navigation

    Use one of these paths based on your setup:

    • Back Office → Features → POS → Sublocations detail in POS

    How to Enable

    1. Open Back Office.
    2. Go to Features.
    3. Search for Sublocations detail in POS.
    4. Turn the toggle ON.
    5. Click Save.

    Prerequisite Setup (Important)

    Before using this in POS, sub-locations must exist in stock settings:

    1. Go to Settings → Stock Settings → Sub Location.
    2. Create sub-location names (example: Rack A1, Bin 03).
    3. Map each sub-location to the correct warehouse/location.
    4. Save configuration.

    POS Usage Flow

    1. Open POS billing screen.
    2. Add product to cart.
    3. Select the required Sub Location for the item.
    4. Complete billing.
    5. Stock is updated against selected sub-location.

    • Teams requiring exact bin-level stock control

    Troubleshooting

    Sub-location dropdown not visible in POS

    • Confirm the feature toggle is enabled.
    • Check user role permissions for POS and inventory.
    • Ensure sub-locations are created and active in Stock Settings.

    Wrong stock reduced from another location

    • Verify warehouse mapping for the selected branch.
    • Recheck product stock availability at sub-location level.
