Home Page Components
The Customise Home Page page helps you build your storefront home page using widgets. Widgets are ready-made content blocks that let you show banners, products, categories, galleries, brands, news, and more without coding.
Navigation Path
Back Office -> Online Store -> Customise Home Page
Access Widget Creation Page
- Login to the Back Office
- Open Online Store
- Select the required store from Select Channel
- Click Customise Home Page
This opens the widget management page for your storefront home page.

What You Can Do in This Page
From the Customise Home Page page, you can:
- create new widgets
- choose different widget types
- arrange widgets in different home page sections
- preview the layout on desktop, tablet, and mobile
- control the display order of widgets
- save the full home page layout
Main Areas in the Customise Home Page Screen
The screen is divided into three useful parts:
Create Widget
The Create Widget button is used to add a new section to the home page.
When you click it, O2VEND shows a list of available widget types such as:

Choose the widget type based on the section you want to show on the home page.
Widget List Panel
The left-side panel shows the widgets already added to the page.
This panel helps you:
- view all existing widgets
- identify widget names such as Carousel, Products, or Category List
- see which home page section the widget belongs to
- manage the order of widgets
- edit or remove widgets
Preview Area
The large preview section on the right shows how the home page looks after widgets are added.
This helps you understand where each widget appears before saving the final layout.
Device Preview Icons
At the top of the preview area, device icons are available to check the layout on:
- desktop
- tablet
- mobile
Use these icons to make sure the home page looks good on all screen sizes.
Save Button
The Save button stores the latest home page widget layout and settings.
Always click Save after adding, arranging, or editing widgets.

How to Create a Widget
- Go to Back Office -> Online Store -> Customise Home Page
- Click Create Widget
- Select the required widget type from the dropdown list
- Configure the widget settings
- Add the widget to the required section
- Repeat the same process for other home page sections
- Review the preview on desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Click Save

Carousel Widget
Used to display sliding banners or promotional images on the home page.
Best for:
- hero banners
- sale promotions
- seasonal campaigns
Product Widget
Used to show selected products on the home page.
Best for:
- featured products
- best sellers
- new arrivals
Category List Widget
Used to display multiple product categories in a list or grouped format.
Best for:
- quick navigation
- category discovery
Category Widget
Used to highlight a specific category.
Best for:
- seasonal collections
- promoted product groups
Gallery Widget
Used to display a visual image collection.
Best for:
- product highlights
- lifestyle images
- brand storytelling
Brand Widget
Used to display brands available in the store.
Best for:
- brand-focused stores
- premium brand promotion
Product Carousel Widget
Used to show products in a sliding format.
Best for:
- trending items
- recommended products
- offer collections
Html Widget
Used to add custom HTML-based content.
Best for:
- custom banners
- embedded code
- advanced content layouts
News Widget
Used to display news, updates, or blog-related content.
Best for:
- announcements

Used to manage footer content blocks.

Tips for Better Home Page Design
- Place important banners near the top of the page
- Keep the home page clean and not overcrowded
- Use product widgets for best-selling or high-priority items
- Use category widgets to improve store navigation
- Check all layouts in desktop, tablet, and mobile preview
- Save after every major change
After saving, the selected widgets will be arranged on your storefront home page based on the order and layout you configured in Customise Home Page.
