Unit of Measure Conversion in O2VEND
The Unit of Measure Conversion feature in O2VEND Back Office allows you to convert one unit type to another — ensuring accurate stock management, product listings, and pricing. This is especially useful for products sold in different packaging or measurement units (e.g., converting grams to kilograms or rolls to meters).

How to Create a Unit of Measure Conversion
Step 1: Open Conversion Setup
Navigate to:
Back Office → Settings → Inventory → Unit Of Measure Conversion
Click “Create Unit Of Conversion” to begin.
Step 2: Fill Conversion Details
You’ll see a form like this:

| From Unit of Measure | Select the base unit you want to convert (e.g., 250 gm, Roll). |
| Conversion Factor | Define the multiplier or divisor (e.g., 4 for 250 gm → 1 Kg). |
| To Unit of Measure | Select the target unit (e.g., 1 Kg, Meter). |
| Active | Set to true if you want this conversion enabled. |

Step 3: Save Your Conversion
Once filled, click Save to confirm.
The conversion will now appear in the main table and automatically apply wherever the product uses those units.
