Beat Runs Tracking | Initiate and Monitor Shipment Beat Runs
Learn how to initiate and track shipment beat runs in O2VEND Back Office. This tutorial explains the Shipment Beat Runs list page, the Beat Run initiation form, and the Beat Run details screen used to monitor orders, shipments, and delivery progress.
What Is a Beat Run?
A beat run is a delivery execution record created for a selected beat, shipping class, rider, and date range.
In simple terms:
Beat = Delivery area
Beat Run = Delivery plan and tracking record for that area
Beat runs help businesses:
- plan deliveries for a selected beat
- assign riders for execution
- apply the correct shipping class
- group orders and shipments in one run
- track delivery progress from one screen
