Stock Movement in Sales Agent App
The Stock Movement screen is used to perform an inventory transfer from one store to another store. This feature helps balance stock between branches when one location has excess quantity and another location requires additional stock.
1. Store Selection (Top Section)
The store displayed at the top (example: Gurugram) indicates the working store for the transfer process.
Confirmation of the correct store is required before proceeding.
2. From and To Store Panels
From Store
Stock quantity is deducted from this store.
To Store
Stock quantity is added to this store.
Both store selections must be verified carefully to prevent inventory mismatch.
3. Add Product (SKU/GTIN)
The Scan SKU/GTIN field allows products to be added by:
- Scanning the barcode
- Entering SKU/GTIN manually
After entering the SKU/GTIN, tap Add Item to include the product in the transfer list.
4. Product List (Item Row)
Each added item displays:
- Product image
- Product name
- Quantity
- Delete icon
The default quantity is usually 1.
Quantity can be adjusted based on the actual number of units being transferred.
5. Total Quantity
The Total Quantity (each) section at the bottom shows the total number of units included in the stock movement transaction.
6. Save Transfer
After completing verification, tap Save.
Once saved:
- Quantity is reduced in the From Store
- Quantity is increased in the To Store
- The transaction is recorded in movement history
